I recently visited Lochgreen House Hotel and found the dining experience outstanding, especially the tasting menu which was absolutely fabulous. However, I had a very disappointing experience during the Christmas lunch with poor service and average food. The staff showed great attentiveness throughout my stay, but the older gentleman in charge could have brought a bit more warmth to the experience. Overall, the hotel has a beautiful setting and if you choose the right dining time, it can be quite delightful.
